Amanda for her part couldn't care less. Having a good time? That's what Amanda had been all about.

I purchased this book because I had read Mr. Kelliher's previous offering, "The Nimrod". As the author forewarns in the beginning, this book is NOTHING like "The Nimrod". That, however is no reason to overlook this particular story. Where "The Nimrod" was comedic, satirical and outright fun, "Unsleepers, Bk.1" is dark, compelling and sexy. Mark Kelliher's style of writing is still very evident in his clever metaphors and obscure and not-so-obscure pop culture references--which, standing alone create enjoyable reading for anyone who enjoys a clever turn of phrase. However, he does offer an actual story here, one that compels the reader to keep turning the pages. Interesting characters, tight dialogue, intrigue, and the delivery of the timeline of the story keep the pace flowing nicely. I look forward to reading Book 2!Product details

What a treat to be taken on this ride (in a light blue muscle car, none the less)of suspense and mystery told in such a real, conversational way. Awesome! "Gold-plated gold" indeed! I especially loved learning that I could download the free app on my iphone and read it that way. Thank you , for making it easier than ever to access great work from exciting authors such as Mr. Kelliher.
So I reiterate... What's your blood type..aaaa book type? I give this one an A positive. This is NOT you run of the mill vampire book. This is so much more!! The characters are alive...but... maybe not, the story flows with 5 main characters, each with a troubling past and with each twist and turn will keep you captivated. If you're looking for steamy vampire seduction...this one is smokin' hot!! I'm anxiously awaiting book 2!
